OuRCity News

Hello, my name is Joseph Rodriguez, and I am enrolled as a Junior at River City High School in West Sacramento, which is my hometown. I originally joined Journalism on kinda a whim, thinking that it would be interesting, and since my freshmen year, it has been basically my job (In school terms anyway). I guess my plans for the future is that I want to be not only a writer, but have my work published in some sort of media, like a book or in a major motion picture. Honestly, without Journalism, I think I wouldn't have really decided what I wanted to do with my post-high school life, so in a way, I am grateful for the opportunity to write for the River City Community, but develop myself as a better writer.
