Wacky Workout day

Saba Khan, Editor

Homecoming spirit week started on September 14th and the leadership class chose the themes of; Fashion Disaster day, Superhero day, Wacky Workout day, Class Color day, and RC color day.
“I think spirit week can be a good thing as far as building campus pride, you know it can be above academics but sometimes students can be distracted. It’s more positive now than it used to be,” says River City’s psychology teacher, Mike Shriver.
On Wednesday, it was Wacky Workout day where students dress in their wackiest and tackiest workout clothes. Usually giving off a goofy vibe.
“Spirit week is really fun and it’s a nice way for everyone at school to get together and do something. Even though not a lot of people participate,” laughs sophomore Brooke Pasquetti, “It’s nice to see how people dress.”
“It’s like the most festive time at River City, like everyone just participates and enjoys the goofiness,” said senior Anna Deguzman.
